Dag Andersson is a true expert in identifying and managing future needs of health care. Before joining Diaverum in January 2008, Dag Andersson was the president of Mölnlycke Health Care’s Surgical Division, and prior to that he headed the company’s UK operations. He started his career in controlling and logistics at SKF, a global industrial company.
As CEO and president of Diaverum, Dag Andersson is responsible for positioning Diaverum as one of the leading renal care providers in the world with a clear patient focus. Today at Diaverum almost 9,000 employees care for more than 29,000 patients in 20 countries in Europe, Latin America, Middle East and Australia/New Zealand. The company continues to grow at fast rate and enters at least one new market every year. Since 2011, Diaverum is offering renal care services in Saudi Arabia, today caring for 1,500 patients in the Kingdom.
Dag Andersson holds an MBA from Insead, a master degree in Economics from Stockholm School of Economics and has studies Russian and Eastern European Economics at Uppsala University. He is a Swedish citizen but has lived in a number of countries around the world. He is currently living in Göteborg.
